Santiago quartet MOMENT have released Resilience, their debut full-length, placing mental health and the lasting effects of loss at the center of a seven-song conceptual album. Available on digital platforms, the record combines hardcore and nu metal within a broader artistic framework connecting the past, present and future.
The announcement, supplied by Alcaloide Música, identifies that framework as Pilares del Tiempo, or Pillars of Time. MOMENT represent its three temporal dimensions through pillars forming an M. For this first album, the focus is the Pilar del Pasado: the losses, guilt and relationships that continue to influence how people face their lives.
The songs follow that premise through distinct stages. “One Last Talk” and “Brittle Hope” address farewell and mourning, before “Adrenaline” and “Breaking Free” turn to personal uncertainty and wounds that remain unresolved. “Nobody” and “Poisoned Reality” move toward recovering autonomy. The latter single extends the album's concerns beyond personal experience to the systems and external pressures that can shape identity. Closing track “Overcame” reaches acceptance of emotional scars and the possibility of beginning another stage.
MOMENT's lineup includes new vocalist Ktrala, Daniel Cubillan on bass, sequences and vocals, Alberto Briceño on drums, and Eduardo Díaz on guitar and vocals. The release announcement describes heavy guitars, forceful foundations and tense atmospheres as the musical setting for experiences of frustration, anxiety and loss. It presents the songs as a means of identification and introspection, with their role in the narrative taking priority over technical display.
Alongside the album announcement, the band supplied the official music video for “Poisoned Reality.” Its place within Resilience connects the single's examination of outside pressures to the record's wider progression from grief toward self-determination.
The debut is described as the opening chapter of MOMENT's conceptual project, intended to encourage conversations about mental health and rebuilding after difficult experiences. The announcement confirms that Resilience is already available on Spotify and other digital platforms, without specifying a release date.
